Follow
traffic out of the Steamship loading area bearing left with the traffic.
At the stop sign, follow signs for Edgartown/OakBluffs and turn left
onto Beach Road. Follow Beach Road for approximately 1.4 miles. After
you pass the hospital, look for signs for Oak Bluffs and turn left onto
Temahigan Ave/New York Ave. Once in Oak Bluffs, follow the signs for
Edgartown; pass the Oak Bluffs ferry landing* and follow Sea View Ave/Beach
Road along the ocean into Edgartown. Approximately six miles from Oak
Bluffs center, pass the Edgartown A&P and bear right at the fork
onto Cook Street. Go straight through the first four-way stop; at the
second stop sign turn right onto Pease's Point Way. Follow Pease's Point
Way for approximately. 7 miles and bear right at the fork onto Herring
Creek Road. Follow Herring Creek Road for approximately one mile and
bear left (not sharp left) at the grass airfield onto Mattakesett Way (a
dirt road). Our house is the second driveway on the left. |
