Check-in time is after 3:00PM on the day of your arrival. Please do
not arrive at the house prior to 3:OOPM. The cleaning staff needs unhindered access to the house to prepare it for you.
Check-out time is 10:00AM sharp! Please respect the 10:00AM departure rule
- it takes about five hours to clean the house and get it ready for the next vacationers. Please leave the house clean. Empty the refrigerator and place all trash in bags in the trash barrels in the garage for collection the morning of your departure.
Please follow the check-out list upon departure.
We are sorry that pets are not
allowed, we have not even had our own Golden Retriever to the house.

The house sleeps a maximum of nine adults.
Top floor two bedrooms, master has king
size bed and other bedroom has queen size bed. Both have full size
bathrooms. On middle level is one bedroom with two twin size and one
full size bed half bath on this level. On lower level is one queen
size bed. full bath on this level.

We try to keep the house well maintained with fresh paint, flooring,
furniture etc. to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please take care of it so the next vacationers will enjoy the house in the
same condition. There are several cleaning supplies provided. If you soil
something please clean it up before it stains.
If anything breaks, or you have any maintenance problems, please
call our caretaker Brad Towns at (978) 815-7893 or (978) 462-9762 and he will assist you.
Electricity is very expensive on Martha's Vineyard. Please be careful with your use
of heat and electric appliances.

BFI collects the trash Tuesdays and and Saturdays. Trash must be
placed in the barrels in the garage before 7:00AM. No trash is permitted out the night before -due to the prevalence of animals.

Please do not smoke in the house.
If you are a smoker, please go
outside and dispose of your cigarette butts properly. The Vineyard grass can become very dry and present a
fire hazard in the summer months.

An
enclosed area just outside the house for you to wash off when
returning from the beach or to slip into and enjoy your first cup of
coffee in the morning.

few children's videos ( feel free to bring your specific favorites),

The
house is equipped with supplies for just in case purposes.
Included are a Vacuum, Electric Dish Soap, Dish Soap, New Sponge,
Hand Soap, Trash Bags, Toilet Paper, and Paper Towels.

Included
in the kitchen are a Lobster
Pot, Electric Griddle, Microwave and Toaster Oven and Coffee Pot
with Filters.
The grill has an automatic ignition. If you run out of gas, there is
usually an extra tank in the garage. As with any flammable device please use caution when utilizing the grill.

Please do not overload the washing machine. It's better to do more
small loads than one large one and risk breaking the machine. Also, due to our soft water, less soap is required to clean your clothes. Please do not put any sandy items into the washer or the dryer. The sand will ruin the moving parts on both machines, and they will need to be replaced. Also,
do not put salty clothing directly into the dryer. The salt will rust the
drum. Clothes Detergent is
provided but please bring fabric softener if you plan to do laundry.
An ironing board and iron are also there for your use.

Please put a minimal amount of electric dishwashing soap in the dishwasher. If you put too much (which is easy to do) our soft water creates a tremendous amount
of bubbles that will seep out onto the floor.

You will find that biking is a fun thing to do on Martha's Vineyard.
There are usually six adult bikes, three medium child bikes and three small child bikes (sometimes one or two may be getting repaired), two baby seats and helmets. Please lock the bikes when parked to avoid theft
- there are some bike locks for your use.

We
provide pillows, blankets and comforters for the beds, and dish
towels in the kitchen. Bed linens and beach towels are not
provided, you can bring your own or call Takemmy Laundry (508)
693-2788 for linen and towel rentals.

A high chair,
crib and stroller are provided for your use. Additional supplies for children can be rented from Tilton Rental (508) 693-9173.
